BCM Ghana to deepen CSR activities after breast cancer awareness in Osu
Mining firm, BCM Ghana has pledged to deepen its corporate social responsibility in schools and communities around Labone and its environs.
The pledges comes after the BCM Women in Mining Chapter organised a health talk on breast cancer awareness and screening at the Presbyterian Senior High School in Osu on Monday ( 14 October) as part of breast cancer awareness month.

The Company’s attention was drawn to a series of articles in print and online media containing allegations of unfair treatment and victimization of previous employees of BCM Ghana Limited. The Company categorically denies these allegations, as unfounded and purposely meant to tarnish the image of its leadership and BCM in the marketplace.

Mining companies admonished about safety of staff, as BCM records 5 million manhours without loss of time to injury
Mining companies have been advised to put in more effort to reduce serious accidents and fatalities in their mines.
In 2023, Ghana’s mining industry recorded seven fatal accidents and 14 serious accidents, compared to only one fatal accident in 2022.
At BCM, we achieved 5 million man hours without any loss of time due to injury over all our project sites, as at 18th January, 2024.
